Burda, Kristen Faye
Dr. Burda practices behavioral sleep medicine, using cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), imagery rehearsal therapy (IRT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to provide relief for those navigating sleep disorders. Dr. Burda also treats post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as it impacts sleep, using cognitive processing therapy (CPT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to address sleep-interfering symptoms such as hypervigilance and intrusive thoughts.
Difficulty sleeping can be distressing, day and night, and customized therapy can help. Dr. Burda collaborates with each client to use the principles of sleep science to transform their sleep experience so they can show up each day for what matters most.
